The historic hardwood doors were sourced as part of a local Indian architecture sustainability resource recycling scheme, where traditional joinery and woodwork are preserved. Scaramanga is pleased to have sourced these heavy-weight hardwood doors from the Rajasthan area of Northern India.
We love the fine wood workmanship. The traditional starburst pattern reflects the era, which we estimate to be 80-100 years ago.
Old Teak Rajasthani Door size: W143cm x D16cm x H217cm
As an outdoor garden or patio feature, this teak hardwood door can create inspiring garden spaces. For an indoor project, the doors could be mounted as internal partition doors. There's lots of creative potential with these old doors.
The doors have been left in their original condition - just a good clean, wax and polish.

Don't forget the fat vintage padlock to complete the look!
The doors will require two wooden blocks with small holes drilled to hold each door's lower pivot points. Two ring brackets will also be needed to hold and secure the door's upper pivot point to the frame's jambs. Scaramanga will not provide these.
