Kadai Fire Bowl - 50-60cm Medium
Introducing our medium Kadai fire bowl 50cm. This original bowl is upcycled from an old traditional Indian cooking pot known as a kadai. Originally these large pots were used for communal cooking in Northern India and can still be seen used for wedding parties and large gatherings.

These solid old kadai fire bowls have handles. Scaramanga has commissioned a local blacksmith to fabricate tripod stands making the bowls ideal summer fire pits to sit around.
These are large original antique and vintage cooking pots made by members from the Lohar community in north-western India. They are not lower quality reproductions that are now commonly mistaken for these handcrafted originals.
The stands for our current stock have four vertical legs and not splayed legs as shown in the photos.
Scaramanga's old, vintage, retro and antique metal fire bowls are not new or made to look old. They will show extensive signs of previous use. They will show corrosion, which will become more visible if left outside. They may also show surface pitting and missing rivets. There may be small holes in the surface of the bowl. It may have an irregular surface caused by the historic movement of the riveted plates. These will not have an impact on its use/durability. We feel these add to their character and appeal. Please look at the photos to get an idea of their condition. The fire pit you receive may be different in style and size to the one shown in the images.
