Large Vintage Brick Mould
A rare large vintage solid teak brick mould that makes an interesting storage container for so many things. We have seen these boxes used for cutlery, condiments, bathroom bottles, flower displays, toys and so much more. These moulds are much older than the standard vintage moulds we stock. Unusually they are made from solid teak, a beautiful honey coloured grain, one of the most durable tropical hardwoods.
Complementing our smaller versions, brick mould is a charming object in its own right. Once used to hand produce 1,000s of adobe (mud) bricks for local home construction in rural India, these fun large brick moulds have their 'brand' inside - their maker's quality mark.

However, small-scale rural enterprises can still be found making bricks in parts of Africa and India. If using as planters we would advise drilling 2-3 drainage holes in the bottom.
