This is a fantastic everyday men's bag that combines a popular backpack style with a classic briefcase design to create a functional men's leather tote bag. In addition, this has to be one of our most practical and stylish leather bags for men to date. Our design team were inspired by a late 1800s US Mail postbag, Scaramanga's founder, Carl, found in an antique shop in Edinburgh. Taken by its simple shape and top handle we were keen to create a bag that was as functional and used the same portrait style.
Travelling to work has never been less stress-free with this fantastic work bag. You can conveniently carry your laptop, A4 notes and even spare clothes for the gym after work. Our favourite part of this versatile men's leather tote bag is the various carrying options. You can either carry the bag in a traditional way with the handles provided at the top. You can also carry the laptop bag over your shoulders thanks to the comfortable arm straps. This allows you to be arms free so you can carry your coffee with ease during the commute to work.
The slip latch closures featured on the front of the leather backpack is an ideal way to access your essentials in a quick and easy way. Underneath the closure, we have included an A4-sized zipped compartment to keep your wallet, keys, and other small essentials in a secure and easy to reach place.
This leather is sturdy and makes for a lifelong mens leather tote bag. We handcraft our leather bags in a unique and traditional way, this ensures your bag will last for years to come. Thanks to the hunter leather, the leather backpack for men features a distressed style that adds endless character.
If you want to make this a personalised gift for you or someone else, please know that we will emboss a complimentary bag tag rather than the actual bag. (This is due to the size of the bag.) When proceeding with embossing, ensure that you select all of the available options and enter your text as usual. We have various options to personalise your bag with two fonts and three colour options, Gold, Silver and Blind.
Scaramanga handcrafts each vintage leather satchel and uses semi-vegetable tanned leather; which may result in variances in texture, colour and shading and natural lines and marks on the leather, which may be individual to each bag.
