Old Key - Extra Small
An original extra small key that would have been used to lock and open a small cabinet, cupboard, suitcase, trunk or chest. Each has been cleaned, but still retains its patina and charm. Each small old key is different and no two are the same. Some are older and shows more corrosion, while others are still shiny. If you have a preference for a shiny or darker one please let us know at the time of ordering.
We also have small, medium, large and extra-large keys.
Sizes are very approximate: 2-4cm long
The ages of our keys can vary considerably. Many will be Georgian, whilst others are Victorian, Edwardian or from the mid-c20th.
The bit or blade, which slides into the keyway of the lock and maybe bigger or smaller than shown in the photos and the bow, which is left protruding so that torque can be applied by the user, may also be smaller or larger than shown.
