This well travelled distressed old travel trunk is a classic from the days of ocean cruise liners and steam trains.
Distressed Travel Trunk size: W92cm x D51cm x H32cm.
The surface panels are decorated with leather. Over the decades the leather has taken on a lovely vintage patina - in places, there is surface distressing and damage).
Overall, the trunk has wonderful historic charm. It's obviously an old piece that has been on many adventures.
Internally, the wooden structure shows evidence of historical woodworm. Although not as strong as it once was, this trunk would make a fine storage hub whilst being a distinctive styling prop for the home. We've seen this style of travel trunk used as a distinctive coffee table.
