Original premium extra-large old vintage padlock. These are original old padlocks used by banks, have interesting engravings, or just look more special than our regular XL padlocks. Select the style from the drop-down box above. Choose from: 'Old Bank Padlocks', 'Trusty', 'VR-Warrantee', 'Barrel' and 'Quirky'. 

Stock is very limited to a few pieces for each style. The old bank locks were used to lock the steel shutters across the front of bank branches. The Trusty Lock Co (TL Co) was a lock-maker who made a 'special screw system which purported to be a more secure system. 'VR' Warrantee' locks were made in the earlier part of the 20th century and mimicked Victorian locks with HM crown and lion and unicorn trademarked stamps to the front of the locks. Barrel locks are smaller in height, but thicker than the other styles and are made with brass and copper. Lastly, the quirky locks are just weird and wonderful! With a very unusual look and opening mechanism.

Each comes with a working key and has been restored and polished by a skilled lock-wallah (locksmith).

Please bear in mind that these are authentic old brass padlocks and the one you receive may not be the same as those shown in the pictures.
