Pirate Chest Late Victorian Trunk
An original leather Victorian trunk from 1880-1900 in the style of a pirate chest. These once popular trunks were used on long trans-Atlantic trips from the UK to USA. Today they make wonderful decorative chests.
The upper compartments in its top has no lid. The lining is torn and shows the wooden top, sides and base. Soe of the leather is worn. This is noticeable on the lid (see 7th image). There is no leather handle on the right hand side.
