Vintage Egg Box
A wonderful vintage egg box made by The Protector Egg Box company. It would make a great addition to a vintage inspired kitchen. Originally used to transport eggs from the poultry to shops and merchants around 60-80 years ago. The lid opens to reveal 2 removable shelves - one still has the individual cardboard egg cases. The box has 'EGGS' stencilled on the sides and top (it's very faint).

The lid's alignment is not straight and the hasp and staple are a little stiff to close.
