Vintage Hillcrest Vintage Office Chair
A vintage Hillcrest office chair from the early 20th century. This office chair with its classic tub style was made in England by the heritage brand Hillcrest. It's a great piece of British design from the late 1930s / early 1940s. Chairs like these were usually seen in directors' office behind grand oak desks. Carl says is a proper boss's seat!
The chestnut leather and hardwood chair's frame is in great condition for its age. It's super comfortable because of its ergonomic design, wide seat and sprung-loaded back.
The frame is fabricated from solid wood and the legs from golden oak, giving you that highly desired classic vintage look.

Condition report: The chair is in good condition overall. It was reupholstered several years ago in high-quality chestnut English leather. It has some minor scuffs to the surface of the leather on its rear. The original castors are also in good running order. The mechanism to lower and raise the seat is in good order. The spring tensioner to control the chair's tilt is stiff, but still turns.
