This vintage jewellery chest was a merchant's chest from Northern India. Once used by merchants for storing their valuables and important documents. Today it would make a jewellery box or memory box for all those special pieces in your collection.

The lid opens to reveal a variety of small compartments. Two small sections lift out, the front to access the main lower compartment and the second a slim hidden compartment.
