Vintage Steamer Trunk
A classic maroon vintage steamer trunk that could be used as a living room coffee table. It is covered with travel and shipping labels from trips to east Africa in the early to mid-20th century.

From the 1950s, this is a fine example of a piece of luggage that would have been taken on train and ships.
This trunk shows extensive signs of use. There are several tears to the covering: lower corner l left side , back of the top, and lower right side. There is also a 4cm split in the wood to the lower front edge. The right latch does not close. There is no side handle to the right hand side.
