This handsome Wooden Box Frame handmade from reclaimed solid teak. So you can display/mount flat[ish] objects rather than prints and photos.
Our recently sourced box frames have been upcycled from vintage wood and fabricated to produce an awesome shabby chic style ready for mounting.
If you have a collection or an object that needs to be seen...then this frame is for you! They could be used for shells, children's artwork, flowers, fossils, stones, small cardboard boxes and anything that less than 2cm / 0.75 inch.
We have a selection of different wood finishes and colours of these frames. The example shown is the 'natural' finish. We also have blue box frame and an off-white box frame.

The photos show an excellent example of how unique the frames can be used. Here a personal collection of 'ribboned antique keys' have been mounted for a gallery wall at Scaramanga's HQ.
The frames are supplied empty and the keys (from the photos) are not supplied.
The wooden used for the box frames is not new - it is sourced from recycled / salvaged wood. The surface distressing reflects the original texture of the old wood and painted surfaces. The scuffs, scratches, old nail holes and dings add a character and vintage appeal. The colour of the teak may vary from lighter to darker than the teak showed.
